As a young creative I was uncertain which direction I wanted to take my expertise, leading me to cover a plethora of design skills and refrain from specializing in one specific area. I guess you could say my focus was versatility. As a Junior Designer I was inspired by the physicality of print design. Being able to experience work in a three dimensional space added a new element of design for me. Working for a brewery I was afforded many opportunities to produce designs for packaging and promotional campaigns. While there, I was introduced to animation and video production. Ready to move back south, I searched for opportunity to exercise my preexisting skills and develop new ones. An opportunity arose and I created a vision for a locally owned chain of restaurants. Developing the brand gave me opportunity to exercise all my skills and really develop new skills like short video productions and animated ads. This opportunity allowed me to visualize my full potential.
